Maybe it is because it rarely rains on my farm in Canada. It seems like it is either windy, sunny, or snowing. Thunderstorms seem few and far between. A thunderstorm was always exciting to me when I was young.
I'm not sure what it is about the rain, maybe it is the fact that the water is washing away all of the dirt and dust outside, but I always get in a crazy cleaning mood. I love that feeling at the end of the day when the house is spotless, Addison is down for the night, and I can snuggle up in a blanket by the window to read and listen to the rain and thunder.
