My pants are officially uncomfortable around my waist...but only when I am sitting. I may have just popped a button. There's a baby growin' in there! This week (12 weeks along) our baby is as big as a lime. I have still had quite a bit of morning sickness, but it has gotten a bit more managable during the afternoons. That is when I have the most energy, and usually the only time that I get anything accomplished.
Strangly, the only thing that I have been craving--or more the only thing that doesn't sound completely disgusting to me lately, is a taco. I have made a couple of Taco Bell runs in the past couple of weeks, and made a giant pot of taco soup on Sunday. I am totally confused by this craving, because beef sounds HORRIBLE to me. I don't know why it makes a difference to have taco seasoning, but hey! Whatever works! :)
Apparently, I have been a bit "moody" as well. I, personally, think that I have been completely reasonable...but Ryan very lovingly told me yesterday that he was going to start calling me "Rice Krispy" because lately I have had a tendency to SNAP, CRACKLE, & POP! I proved him right by telling him, "If this is the WORST thing that you have to deal with during this pregnancy, you are SO LUCKY." In a fairly snappy voice, then stopped, thought a minute, and started laughing hysterically. I may have some crazy pregnant hormones. Maybe. :)
Addison has been talking to my stomach lately...she says "HI BABY! It Addie! Wata doin'? Night night baby." It is so sweet, I can't wait to see her be a big sister! We started potty training a week before her birthday, and she has been doing amazing. I almost can say that she is potty trained (minus night time...we haven't gotten there yet).
Today my Grandparents are driving down from Canada with a special delivery for Addison...a new bed! I found a bed from Pottery Barn that I LOVED, but it was super expensive. There is a pattern online to make it yourself though, and my Grandpa offered to make it for me (after a bit of hinting on my part). He, of course, made it even BETTER than Pottery Barn's by adding a back, and sides, and by making the design more sturdy. I am so excited to get it up in Addie's room!
So there it is...my first pregnancy update. I am sure you will all be tired of hearing about it by the time I get this little one out! :)
