Addison's Birthday and Our Big News!

Addison is two! I can't believe how fast the past couple of years have gone by. She is getting so big (she weighs 24 pounds now) and she is talking like crazy. My two favorite Addie Quotes from last week are, "Are you kidding me?" and "That's LAME!". Haha she is such a little parrot, and as you can tell from the picture below, she is a spunky little stinker!
Ryan was out of town for Addison's birthday, so we had a girl's day! We set up the tent in our living room and went "camping". We spent most of Addison's birthday snuggling, watching movies, painting our toenails, and eating. It was good to spend a full day just doing what she loves to do. And she was in heaven!
The Saturday after her birthday, we had a little party. Grandma Bell and Uncle Jon came over to our house and we had dinner, opened presents, played with Bubbles, had cake and icecream, and then watched the movie "Tangled".

Happy birthday to the little girl that made me a mom! I love you!

And now for our big news...

I am pregnant!

Many of you already know (I put it on facebook last weekend), but for those of you that don't know yet, I am due October 7.

When I found out, I decided to tell Ryan in a fun way. I planned on taking all of the clothes out of his closet (which happens to be in the guest bedroom because our closet is full of my stuff) and to have a sign in the back of it saying something like "Time to make room for another baby!" But when I called him to find out what time he would be home from work he told me that he had finished early, and was visiting some friends in Rexburg who had a new baby. When he told me he was holding and feeding the baby a bottle, and that holding her was making him baby hungry, I couldn't help but blurt out "GOOD!" He was confused for a second but then figured out what I was telling him (after I started crying on the phone)!

So far this pregnancy has been about the same as my last. I found out when I was 4 1/2 weeks, and swore that I wasn't going to be sick this time around. That lasted a total of about a week and a half.

My "morning sickness" is pretty much an all day sickness. It is the worst in the morning, and from 4:00 pm until I fall asleep. So far I have not had any food cravings, pretty much everything sounds disgusting to me. As a result of being sick, and never having an appetite, I have lost around 12 pounds. I am not "showing", yet...Ryan swears my stomach looks the same, but I can tell that it is getting bigger.

We are so excited to have this little baby come into our lives! Because I know how fast time goes now, I am going to soak up EVERY little minute that I have with my newborn, and snuggle him/her like crazy! I feel like I was always so excited for the next new thing with Addison, that I didn't appreciate her being a baby as much as I wish I would have.

Let the waiting game begin!
