Addison is finally old enough that she gets Halloween! The first two Halloweens we dressed her up, but she didn't get into Trick-or-treating, or pumpkin carving. This year she was so excited about her "Dora Pumpkin" and couldn't wait to go trick-or-treating!
The girls were both dressed up as strawberries this year. We started off our fun with a trip to the bank where Ryan works. They were handing out candy there, and Addison ate hers before we even got back into the car! After that we went over to our ward's trunk-or-treat. It was supposed to go from 4-6 and when we got there at 5:20 most people had already run out of candy!
We ran to the grocery store to buy some candy to hand out at our door, then went home. We had a lot of trick-or-treaters come to our house this year! Ryan told Addie that he would take her to the houses around us if she wanted to go trick-or-treating for longer, and she ran out the door and was SO excited. This was the first year that we have taken her house to house. I stayed home with Gracelyn because it was so cold outside. She was hungry, and since there were so many kids coming to the door, I decided to experiment with bottle feeding. She liked the formula! I am glad to know that I can leave her with Ryan without having to worry about rushing back to feed her!
Here is our sweet Gracelyn (1 month) in her Halloween costume:
And here are the only two pictures I got of Addison. She was SO excited to go trick-or-treating with her Daddy that she wouldn't hold still. This picture is not the greatest, but it shows her strawberry costume!
By the time she finished she had a whole bucket full of candy! We will have to ration it out so that we don't have a toddler that is hyped up on sugar all of the time!
